Music for pregnant

Listening to classical music while pregnant makes your baby smarter.

Murielle Blondeau, a spokeswoman with the Bureau de Francine Chaloult, said Tuesday that Dion and her husband, Rene Angelil, found out about the pregnancy Monday after she underwent fertility treatments in New York. Blondeau says the baby is due next May.

The pop superstar and her husband are rejoicing that the couple will have their second baby in May after undergoing fertility treatments at a New York clinic.

What is the history of Music Therapy as a healthcare profession?

I do agree with some opinion that musics will help to calm the baby especially the classical songs (so light and easy), in other words singing lullaby to the baby but it's a good practice to relax and unwind the emotions.

The sex of the baby was not immediately known. It was also not immediately clear whether it was the same embryo Dion spoke about in a television interview eight years ago.

In 2000, Dion told an interviewer that she was pregnant with her first child, Rene-Charles. She added that Rene-Charles already had a sibling in the works.

"I have a twin. It is called a laboratory twin," Dion said in the interview.
